Jean Rollins, 84, died January 24, 2017 at her home in Satanta. She was born on June 2, 1932 in Fulton, Kansas the daughter of Arthur Walter and Lena Mae (Ferguson) Robinson.

Jean spent her childhood in Americus, graduating from Americus High School in 1952. On December 20, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, William (Bill) Rollins at the home of friends. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2011. Bill and Jean moved to Satanta in 1957 where they made their home and raised four children. Jean took great pride in remodeling many rentals in Satanta. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies. Jean always said her purpose in life was to listen to people. 

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Satanta.

Jean is survived by three sons, Jeff Rollins and wife Nora of Satanta, Jim Rollins and wife Ginny of Bel Aire, and Mike Rollins and wife Rhonda of Satanta; one daughter, Kathy Lethem and husband David of Casa Grande, Arizona; one sister, Millie Hayes of Bayfield, Colorado; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Bill, Jean is preceded in death by a brother, Ray Robinson and a sister, Florence McQuitty. 

Graveside service will be held at Dudley Township Cemetery, Satanta on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Sublette on Friday January 27, 2017 from noon to 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 PM.
