Jameson Energy Center Set to Open
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Primed for their grand opening on Thursday the Jameson Energy Center will have three wind turbines generating 27 megawatts of power. Public Utilities Director Mike Muirhead believes this will make a difference for all of Garden City.
In the summertime, other sources would make up the difference. The most important thing is that all the energy generated from Jameson stays right here.
The ribbon cutting is Thursday morning at 10 from the facility located on Jennie Barker Road.
