Informational Meeting to Show Type of Help Available For Wildfire Affected Farmers
Ashland, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A public meeting is scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday afternoon from the Ashland High School Gymnasium. This meeting will provide a wide variety of information about emergency programs and other assistance available to farmers and ranchers who have been affected by the recent wildfires.
Several speakers will be on hand to make presentations and answer questions including representatives from the US and Kansas Department of Agriculture, Kansas Livestock Association and Kansas Farm Bureau.
