Increase in Vehicle Registration Fees to Help Strengthen KHP Numbers
(westernkansasnews.com) The legislature has approved a two dollar increase in vehicle registration fees starting July 1st. Lieutenant Adam Winters of the Kansas Highway Patrol on what this money is designed to do.
That money will have a great impact in our part of the state.
The goal is for KHP to increase their presence at job fairs and to use a uniform trooper in the capacity as a full-time recruiter.
