Improvements in Healthcare Brought Closer to Home

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) St. Catherine Hospital and officials from Garden City came out Friday for a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new emergency room’s “Fast Track” department.

Philanthropy Coordinator Kelley Reeve says “Fast Track” is the first part of a 2 million dollar capital campaign fundraising drive.  Hospital Board member Sister Roserita Weber believes the new unit will make an immediate impact.

The hospital has hired more staff to deal with the growing number of patients expected at the new “Fast Track” unit.
