Imogene “Jean” Joan Miller
Imogene “Jean” Joan Miller, age 79, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. She was born on September 1, 1937 in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Conrad and Anna Katherine Woelk.
She was a member of the Tribune community most of her life.
On August 7, 1955 she was married to Harlan Miller at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tribune, Kansas. He survives.
Jean was known for her patience and her artistic talents in countless paintings, along with her abilities to be a wonderful seamstress. She enjoyed playing bridge at the Melvin O Kuder Senior Center, and cooking many meals for Rotary meetings.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Harlan Miller, of Tribune, Kansas; three children, Ronald and Cindy Miller of Tribune, Kansas, Brian and Shelli Miller of Tribune, Kansas; Marsha and Kriss Young of Weskan, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Jessica Rogers of Lenexa, Kansas, Jayme Miller of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Jordan Crain of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, Andrew Miller of Tribune, Kansas, Jonathan Miller of Lawrence, Kansas, Michael John Miller of Manhattan, Kansas, Rebecca Miller of Lawrence, Kansas, Jason Young, Weskan, Kansas, Eric Young of Weskan, Kansas, Kellie Weeks of Manhattan, Kansas; one brother, John Woelk of Rozel, Kansas; many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Juanita Smith, Virginia Smith, LeRoy Woelk, and Marjorie Peter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 10:30 am MST at the Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas.
Open calling hours will be from 5-8 MST Monday evening and from 10-8 pm MST at Price and Sons Funeral Home of Tribune, Kansas.
Interment will be held at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
