Huelskamp Gets Challenge From Right?
Clyde, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Republican Congressman Tim Huelskamp has a challenger for his seat in Washington and its coming from the right. Alan LaPolice, a dairy farmer from North Central Kansas is ready to begin his campaign.
LaPolice believes Huelskamp has fallen short in representing his constituents.
LaPolice is concerned that Huelskamp is no longer serving on the House Agricultural committee.
LaPolice believes Huelskamp has a history of not staying on key committees either by not toeing the company line in voting with party interest or not getting along with party leaders.
LaPolice assures voters that he has talked with congressional leaders and is convinced he would be put on the ag committee if elected. LaPolice plans on making stops at all the VFW’s in the district to start his conversation with voters.
