DCIM100MEDIA

Washington DC (westernkansasnews.com) The vote to block proposed regulations removing the word “navigable” from the rights of waters act that falls under EPA jurisdiction cleared the House Tuesday 262-152. Thirty five Democrats joined Republicans to vote for the measure. Congressman Tim Huelskamp believes standing up to this rule is the right thing to do.

Kansas Farm Bureau and the Kansas Livestock Association are both against the proposed regulation. The bill moves to the US Senate.
