Hot Temperatures Prompt This Reminder About Kids in Cars
(westernkansasnews.com) With high temperatures expect to push 100 degrees nearly all week, here is another reminder to know where your child is at all times and to never leave them alone in a heated car.
KDOT spokesperson Kirk Hutchinson explains using a teddy bear can be a terrific reminder your child is there.
Do whatever works for you. Do not talk yourself into thinking a child will be okay in a heated car for a few minutes either. A few minutes is still a few too many for that child, so please bring them along.
