Hollenbeck finishes in top 15 at College Finals
Casper, WY (westernkansasnews.com)-After a three-day run, Garden City’s Brandi Hollenbeck finished 13th overall in breakaway roping at the National College Finals Rodeo.
“I’m disappointed I didn’t finish where I wanted,” Hollenbeck said afterwards. “But I’m glad I got a chance to experience this.”
Hollenbeck clocked a 1.9 second run on day one, putting her in first place. But she did not record a time in her final two outings.
Meantime Garden City’s Cody Devers is sitting in 33rd place in steer wrestling.
