Holcomb man arrested after leading officers on high speed chase
On May 7th, 2022, about 4:11 p.m. SCPD Officers attempted to stop a pickup for traffic infractions. The vehicle failed to stop and Officers pursued. The pursuit ended in Finney County at 4:55 p.m. The pursuit traveled over 50 miles with speeds in excess of 100 m.p.h. through rural Scott and Finney County roads.
Braden Timothy Mitchell, age 20 of Holcomb was arrested by SCPD Officers for pending charges of:
felony flee & elude, reckless driving, driving under the influence, transportation of an open container, minor in possession of alcohol, possession of THC, criminal possession of a firearm, illegal window tint and multiple traffic violations.
KHP and Finney County Sheriff assisted with the pursuit. Mitchell is currently in the custody of the Scott County Sheriff and the case has been forwarded to the Scott County Attorney.
