Highway 50 Expansion Still Long Way From Reality
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) After last week’s decision from KDOT to use the smaller median of 16 feet to remove less at Point of Rocks outside Dodge City some people may wonder why it’ll take four years to get construction underway. KDOT spokesman Kirk Hutchinson says there is still a lot of loose ends that need tied up.
Total cost of the project is $69 million dollars. Even though construction will begin in four years, the entire project won’t be completed for another six.
