Heartland Cancer Center Opens
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It began with a blessing from a priest.
A proclamation from Pope Francis and in the end a ribbon cutting signifying the official opening of Heartland Cancer Center located across the street from St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. For Hospital CEO Scott Taylor the center represents more than just bricks and mortar.

Treatments are localized so as not to hurt the surrounding healthy tissue. Before the ribbon cutting the Leave a Legacy Foundation gave the hospital 30,000 dollars. Public tours of the facility were held Saturday from 11-3.
