Hazel Maydean Dudley

Hazel Maydean Dudley, 90, of Liberal, passed away on April 8, 2015 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center.  

She was born on October 5, 1924 to William and Arlie (Munson) Apsley in Beaver County, OK. 

She was a graduate of Liberal High School, Class of 1946.  

On January 29, 1947 she married Howard Clifton Dudley in Liberal, KS. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2005.

Hazel enjoyed camping, baking, crocheting and bingo. She was a Life Member of VFW Auxillary and the Washington PTA. She was also a member of the First Christian Church.

Hazel is survived Two Sons – Howard Dean Dudley of Kingman, AZ, Floyd Lee Dudley and wife Glenda of Liberal, KS; Foster Daughter – April Summers Walrath and husband Richard; Five Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandson.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents, One Sister, One Brother and Grandson- Christopher Dudley.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2015, 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, 12:00 Noon at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
