Hays soccer blanks Garden City

Hays, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-It wasn’t exactly how Josue Negron and Joaquin Padilla drew it up. 

Courtney Molleker scored two goals and assisted on another as the Lady Indians rolled toa  4-0 win over Garden City Monday afternoon. 

“You know right from the beginning they were able to control the midfield,” Negron said. “They were able to score early.”

In fact, it only took six minutes for Hays to get on the board when Pratt Community College commit Alexa Brull scored on Molleker’s setup. Molleker then went on her own scoring frenzy-scoring two goals in less than 60 seconds, and before the Buffaloes could blink it was 3-0 just 10 minutes into the contest. 

“Lacey Pfannenstiel added the Lady Indians final tally in the 42nd minute.
