Haviland teen killed in Scott County crash

Scott County, KAN (WesternKansasNews.Com) – One person is dead following a single car crash over the weekend.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash happened Saturday around 10:45 A.M. on Venison road about 1 mile north of the K-96.
The KHP says a 02’ Mercury Mountaineer was Southbound on Venison Road when it entered the West ditch. Isaac Redburn, 18, Haviland Ks, overcorrected, causing the vehicle to go into the East ditch and overturn a number of times. The car came to a rest upside down after striking an irrigation motor.
