Harold Wayne Lappin
Harold Wayne Lappin, Age 76, was relieved of all pain and suffering on April 28, 2015 at his home, surrounded by those he loved in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in Dodge City, KS on March 23, 1939.
Harold served his country in the US Navy. He retired from PNM as a lineman and worked many more years for the Albuquerque Mortuary Service and Hope Christian School. He was a past Master of Temple Lodge #6. A.F. and A.M. He then spent the last 9 years in Scott City, KS enjoying retirement and volunteering at the VIP Center.
Survivors include his wife Maria Lappin of 22 years, Daughter Mitzi Hoeme and husband Kelly, and their daughters, Alexis and Brooke, all from Scott City, KS. Step children Donnie, Danny and wife Kathy, Neta & Chach Dominquez and their children Daniel, Kristen, Franchesca & Dylan of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by his sister, Norma Franklin. He was proceeded in death by both his parents and 3 sisters.
Memorial services were heldHYPERLINK “x-apple-data-detectors://8/” Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Remedy Church of God in Albuquerque, NM, with Pastor Dennis Carter, of Scott City Ks, presiding. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, KS.
Memorials may be given to The First United Methodist Church of Scott City, KS.
