Governor to visit Garden City
State of Kansas
Governor Laura Kelly will hold a Kansan to Kansan budget listening session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, in the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex at Garden City Community College. The Governor would like to hear about Kansans’ priorities for next year’s state budget. Following brief remarks from Governor Kelly, attendees will be divided into groups to discuss their thoughts and ideas on the budget.
While in Garden City, the Governor will also attend the Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Garden City Sports of the World Complex. The construction of the complex was made possible in part by the Kansas Department of Commerce STAR Bond program. She will then tour the Russell Child Development Center.
