Governor Brownback discusses medicare
TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) – Kansas Governor Sam Brownback’s administration will hold meetings in a dozen cities next month to educate people about a proposal to overhaul the state’s Medicaid program. Brownback wants to turn management of the $2.9 billion-a-year program that covers medical services for the poor, disabled and elderly over to three private insurance companies.
