Goss: The Sound You Do Not Want to Hear, Whooping Cough

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Barton County has had several cases of whooping cough reported including a six week old baby boy that died. That has prompted Director of the Finney County Health Department Ashley Goss to warn us about two age groups that are the most vulnerable.

 

Here is what you can do.

It has been a couple of years since an outbreak of whooping cough in Southwest Kansas. Goss knows whooping cough is more than just the common cold.

Vomiting can also be a symptom in stage two.

Goss says it can take a long time to get over whooping cough.
