Gladys M. Wagner, age 92, died on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on July 13, 1925 in Holcomb, Kansas the daughter of Claude F. and Effie Jane Moody McQueen.
She worked as a cook for USD 457 for many years. Gladys is a member of the Church of the Brethren, Eagles Lodge, VFW Auxillary, the Red Hat Society, and the Senior Center all of Garden City.
On August 2, 1948 she married Oliver Wagner in Russell Springs, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1997.

One Son Kenneth D. and Sheryl Wagner of Garden City, Kansas
Three Grandsons Scott and Kimberly Wagner of Scott City, Kansas
Michael and Mindy Wagner of Ogden, Iowa
Stuart and Erin Wagner of Garden City, Kansas
One Granddaughter Lisa Wagner of Garden City, Kansas
Eleven Great Grandchildren Benjamin, Jordan, Olivia, Storm, Sawyer, Syriana, Stelen, Claire, Presleigh, Elliott, and Sydney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Vernon Wagner, four brothers, Claude Wagner, Jr., Warren Wagner, William “Billy” Wagner, Donald Wagner, two sisters, Alice Schoor, and Mary Jane Martinez.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Brethren of Garden City, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 1, 2017 from 10-8 pm with the family present from 5-7 at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.

Interment will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas immediately following the funeral service.
