Getting Their Financial House In Order
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) I am sure you have some money stashed away under an old shoe box or mattress to use just in case the need arises. Some people say its money needed on a “rainy day”. State government isn’t any different although Senator Garrett Love says lawmakers are only now putting money aside that used to go elsewhere.
Love would be interested in discussing establishment of a permanent “rainy day fund” for the state although if surplus funds remain untouched that would serve the same purpose.
