Getting Closer to a Decision

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Talk about holding two different views, while KDOT is stuck in the middle. The Dodge City Commission supports KDOT’s plan for a 60 foot median creating wider lines into town on US 50.  The Ford County Commission wants a smaller median to take less of the Point of Rocks.  Kirk Hutchinson with KDOT says ultimately the decision rests with this group and the clock is ticking.

For now there are no more meetings are scheduled between the two sides. The project is expected to be done in 2018.
