Genaro Ramirez

Genaro Ramirez, , died May 24, 2017 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City, .  He was born on March 16, 1973 at Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico son of  Juan Ramirez-Luna and Beatriz Chairez. 

Genaro came to the United States at the age of 16 to start his own business with what little he had, which eventually grew into a family business Ramirez Construction.

Genaro was always a very hard working man, strong, generous, and protective of his family.  He love all his family with all his heart, till the last moment of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Angelica Ramirez of Dodge City; his children,  Johnathan, Yazmin, Katherine and Genaro all of the home; two brothers, Manuel and Sergio Ramirez and sister, Maria Hilda Ramirez.

Vigil service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM with  Rev. Aneesh Parappanuttu presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday May 25, 2017 from Noon to 8:00 PM.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.  A memorial fund has been setup in Genaro’s name at the Credit Union of Dodge City.

May the Lord receive him in his holy kingdom, forgive his sins, and grant him eternal life.  We will never forget him and he will always live in our memories and in our hearts.
