GCPD Media Release – Homicide
Garden City Police Department
On May 24, 2021, at around 11:05 P.M., Officers of the Garden City Police Department responded to the 1200 block of N 9th Street in reference to a man shot. Upon arrival, officers found a man sitting in the street who had been shot. He was transported by Finney County EMS to St. Catherine Hospital, where he later died.
The man is identified as Eraclio Hernandez Jr. (33), Garden City, KS.
The investigation is ongoing.
