GCHS To Host State Robotics Competition

Garden City High School will host the state robotics competition on Saturday, March 14, for teams across the state that have advanced to the competition. The contest will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the main gym at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. The event is free and open to the public to attend.
This will event will likely be the biggest Vex IQ robotics state championship Kansas has ever had in terms of number of teams. There are around 45 to 50 teams that are expecting to compete during the event. There will be six teams (3 elementary and 3 middle school) that will qualify and advance to the world championship. The 2020 VEX Robotics World Championship will take place in Louisville, Kentucky April 26-28
