GCHS To Host Reach Out, Give Back: Connecting Families and Community Event

Garden City High School will host the Reach Out, Give Back: Connecting Families and Community event on Wednesday, April 18th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. There will be a free will donation dinner in the Commons Area from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

There will be an informational fair from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. on the walking tack in the GCHS gymnasium. Various organizations from the community will be on hand to provide information to families about safety, health and services that they provide.

Jared Estes will be a guest speaker during the event. He will be talking to 7th – 12th grade students and their parents in the GCHS auditorium. He will provide an inspirational message entitled “Fire Back”, which focuses on getting through a tragedy and empowerment.

The Public Service Academy will provide babysitting for children birth through pre-school age during the event. There will also be a raffle for items to help support Family Crisis Services and Oasis of Peace Center.
