GCHS soccer hands Dodge their first loss; baseball drops two
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Garden City assistant Josue Negron said it best:
“It was what we expected; two evenly matched teams.”
And that’s what fans were treated to Tuesday at Buffalo Stadium, only Garden City did just enough in the second half to forge ahead with a 2-1 victory over Dodge City.
“They are very similar to us,” Negron said. “They pass it very well.”
After trailing 1-0 at the half, Megan Martinez put the Buffaloes on her back, scoring twice; once in the 50th minute to tie it; then again in the 70th minute.
