GCHS holding drug awareness night

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City High School will host a Drug Awareness Parent Night on Monday, February 5th, at 6:00 p.m. in the commons area, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. The event will help provide parents information on drug awareness and recognizing the signs of drug use and prevention.

Parents can make a difference in their child’s decision about using drugs. High school students surveyed in a nationwide study showed that 80% of respondents said that their parents’ concern, opinions, and expectations influence if and how much they smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs.

Snacks will be provided during the event.
