GCHS girls soccer grinds out 1-0 victory
Goddard, KS-The Buffaloes bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Buhler in the consolation semifinals of the Goddard Invitational on Tuesday. With the win, Garden City advances to play Rose Hill in the consolation finals Thursday at 5 p.m.
The teams played to scoreless draw in the first half before Garden City (1-1) finally broke through in the 65th minute with a goal by Noeli Munoz.
Garden City out shot Buhler 13-5 and goalie Kaylee Keller recorded three saves.
