GCHS Buffalo Grapplers Win WAC Championship on the Road
Great Bend, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – The 6A No. 1 Garden City Buffalo Wrestling team claimed their first Western Athletic Conference Championship in five years, with their double dual victories over Great Bend and Hays on the road at Great Bend last night. The Buffaloes won 10 of 14 matches to beat the Panthers 42-21 and finished off defending WAC Champion Hays, winning 11 of 14 matches in that dual taking down the Indians 57-15.
