GCHS and DCHS soccer advancing to regional finals
Garden City-The Buffaloes advanced to the 6A regional finals after beating Topeka 3-0 Tuesday night at Buffalo Stadium. They move on to play Manhattan on Thursday.
“I thought we started off a little slow,” assistant coach Josue Negron said. “But after that, we really got things going.”
Alonso Vera got the Buffaloes on the board in the 25th minute before Salvador Bustos and Hussein Ismail added goals in the second half.
Dodge City also advance with a 3-0 victory over Wichita West. They host Haysville Campus on Thursday.
