GCCC Student Art Show in Mercer Gallery May 4-11
Students from GCCC art classes will have their works on display in Mercer Gallery from May 4 – May 11. This show features pieces created in the 2017-2018 school year at the college. Art from numerous classes and a variety of media will be on display. Full-time, part-time, and non-traditional students have offerings in the show.
Some of the works in this show have been featured in the Smoky Hills Art Show in Hays, Kansas. The First Friday reception will be May 4, from 5-7 pm, in conjunction with Garden City Arts and Downtown Vision event, and an Artists’ Reception will be held on May 5, from 5:30-7:30 pm, which is the official opening of the display.
