GCCC Board Approves New Campus Police Department
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It is time to take campus safety to the next level at Garden City Community College. At Tuesday night’s board meeting President Herbert Swender made the recommendation to begin a campus police department and it received the approval of the college board of trustees.
Swender says initially the new campus police department will begin with one officer and up to seven people who will work part-time.
