GCCC’s First President Passes
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The first president at Garden City Community College died Monday at the age of 92. L.C. Crouch served as college president from 1965-1971 after the junior college broke away from the school district.
College Dean and Instructor Beth Tedrow says much of what we see today from the community college came from Crouch’s vision and drive.
Crouch will be laid to rest Friday at Town and Country Church in Topeka.
