GCCC Eyes Opportunity From New Powered Milk Plant

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The announcement was made Friday. Dairy Farmers of America is building a milk to powder processing plant in Garden City. There is tremendous benefit to the city, but also to Garden City Community College.

GCCC President Doctor Herbert Swender believes the opportunities will not stop there.

The new plant is expected to employ up to 60 people and be completed by May, 2017.
