GCCC Excited About Higher Enrollment For Fall

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) While enrollment is down at public universities and community college across the country, Garden City Community College is bucking the trend. Despite making some tough budgetary choices, GCCC President Doctor Herbert Swender likes the student numbers expected.

 

Bigger enrollment means more fundraising is needed for scholarships to provide academic opportunities. Jeremy Gigot is director of the college endowment association and takes pride in what his group has achieved.

Gigot on one new program that has turned out well.
