GCCC Campus Safety Director Takes the Reigns
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) On a college campus safety is always a top priority. After all if you don’t feel safe, how can you learn? That is why his job is so important. The new director of campus safety at Garden City Community College Rodney Dozier has been on the job a little more than a month, but already is setting things in motion.
Dozier is bringing in ideas and implementing them.
One of those ideas includes increasing the safety for both students and facility after hours.
Dozier also wants to start a campus safety class addressing simple things such as crime prevention tips and even talking your way out of verbal confrontations.
