GCCC and Burtis Motors partnering for holiday toy drive
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City Community College, Kansas Collegiate Farm Bureau, the GCCC Block and Bridle Club and Burtis Motors Company, Inc., will hold a toy drive on the GCCC campus this holiday season. Several events have been planned to help children in need.
On Thursday, November 30, a Burtis Motors Ford Pickup will be ready to fill with toys at the John Collins Vocational Building parking lot from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. GCCC Ag students will be available to collect toys at the GCCC home basketball games on Saturday, Dec 2, vs. Hutchinson Community College–Lady Busters tip off at 6:00 pm, and the men will follow. Please bring new, un-wrapped toys to donate. All toys will be donated to the Salvation Army to help local children.
