GC Chamber holding reception for Dyer

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City Chamber of Commerce is holding a reception Thursday to thank Chamber President Steve Dyer for his contributions.

Dyer is resigning as Chamber President after serving in the position since March of 2013. Kathleen Whitley has been named the interim President starting September 18. A nationwide search is currently being conducted by the Chamber search committee. Applications are being accepted through September 30, 2017. If you are interested in the position or want to learn more about it you can access information at www.gardencitychamber.net.

The reception will be held Thursday September 14 from 4:00-5:30 at the Poky Room of the Clarion Inn.
