Mayor Janet Doll credits the commission for luring businesses in through Tax Increment Financing.  All it takes from the developer is a commitment to improve the existing infrastructure and in return.

With more businesses means the need for better roads. Drivers in downtown Garden City are noticing a new look for Main Street which begs the question could less mean more?

Mayor Doll believes the new layout will offer another advantage.

Doll says feedback will be important to determine if this is a permanent solution.
