Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) You have been warned. Garden City Police Chief James Hawkins says students driving to Garden City High School may get a surprise one of these days.
Hawkins will not release what day cops will be out. The National Transportation Safety Board reports 20 percent of teens still do not buckle up and 56 percent of teen drivers involved in a fatal wreck were not wearing their seat belt.
