Garden City Schools to Make Key Presentation on Common Core
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Common Core standards are making their way through our education system and USD 457 in Garden City is at the root of this change. Director of Elementary Education Leigh Ann Roderick focuses on two central elements in English and Math and the changes made with the goal of increasing students analytical skills.
Roderick says these changes are at all grade levels. Her presentation before the Kansas Association of Schools Boards is in early December.
