Garden City Police Soon Will Have Body Cameras

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City Police Department has them on the way. An order of body cameras will be used by officers in the event of a dispute between police and suspects.

The good news is that Police Chief James Hawkins says the new body cameras are compatable with the equipment already used by the department.

Depending on how this first line of cameras goes Hawkins might buy more for his officers in the future.
