Garden City Police Receive Heartfelt Gift
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) During Wednesday’s special presentation before Garden City Police Officers, Pastor Doug Williams the Chaplain of the Kansas State Troopers Association gave out Swedish Steel knives as a token of appreciation from an anonymous group of citizens.
With the national media focusing on the negative actions of officers, this group wanted police to know they are valued.
Eventually every officer in the department will receive a knife.
