Garden City Police Investigating Robbery of Elderly Woman

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police are asking for your help in a suspected robbery last Thursday of a 76 year old woman. Reports are the suspect asked the a victim if she needed a ride.  Both met outside the Dillon’s shortly before 6pm.  Once they reached the north side of town the suspect is accused of hitting the victim with a grocery bag filled with cans and making off with $86 in cash.  The suspect is described as with woman in her 20’s with shoulder length blonde hair, 5-5 and weighing 200 pounds.  Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
