Garden City Police Arrest Man from Scott City for Kidnapping, Assault
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police arrested a 39 year old man from Scott City involved in a altercation with a 30 year old woman at her home on East Laurel Street Sunday morning. Police say Steven Turley is accused of refusing to leave the residence, reportedly pulled the victim by her hair and then attempted to choke her. Eventually the women escaped and drove away with her two children.
The woman had some cuts and bruising, but is otherwise alright. Turley was arrested later on the 600 block of Campus Drive. He faces aggravated burglary, assault, kidnapping and other charges.
