Garden City Grapplers Rout Lawrence in Top Five Class 6A Battle

Lawrence, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–In a battle of two of the top four teams in Class 6A Thursday night in Lawrence, the N0. 1 ranked Garden City Buffalo wrestling team drilled the No. 4 Lawrence Lions 62-12. The Buffaloes won 11 of 14 weight classes, and remain undefeated in dual competition this year. Garden City will compete in one of the toughest tournaments in the Midwest, the Kansas City Stampede. Competition begins at 4 pm Friday and continue 8:30 am Saturday that features nationally ranked wrestlers.
