Garden City Commission Looks at Liquor Ordinance
(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City, KS–The city commission in Garden City is taking another look at the punishments given to businesses who sell alcohol to underage customers. Right now under a third offense, a business could lose their liquor license for a year. The commission was asked to reconsider after talking with Chamber of Commerce President Steve Dyer.
Dyer is pleased with the dialogue from commissioners, police and businesses since the issue was brought up. The topic is on the agenda for the next city commission meeting Tuesday.
