Garden City Arts Takes Step Towards Finding New Home
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) After the city commission turned down their recent offer to buy the Old American Legion Building, Garden City Arts will now look at Plan B. Garden City Arts Executive Director Laurie Chapman.
The bank is leaving their branch downtown. In exchange, Chapman says they will offer something in return.
The next step is to make the proposal before the Commerce Bank Board. If successful, Chapman is happy the new building offers more room and keeps the gallery downtown.
